Greetings to you all. Happy Tuesday!
That post on Sunday was kinda a big dump of thoughts and shit, so this one will be a little shorter update.
Sunday PL and I met my parents, grandparents, sister and brother-in-law to celebrate my grandpa's birthday. It was fun. I gave my grandpa a copy of one of Jimmy Carter's recent books about his faith, and he said he'll definitely read it soon.
My sister is really huge! She's due to pop out the newest addition to our family in a few weeks. Since I work at a bookstore, naturally I want my niece or nephew to have lots of books for her or his awesome parents to read to her or him, so I gave them two picture books I'd picked up: Everybody Poops and The Gas We Pass. In our family, it is necessary to be well educated about bodily functions. We are a gassy lot!
And I decided today that my next creative endeavor will be a musical stage adaptation of "Call of Cthulhu." It'll be awesome, with dark disturbing music, nasty live special effects, and in the final number we'll spray all kinds of slime on the audience as madness and despair spread throughout the theater.
So I'm really not going to do this, but you can imagine it would be awesome, can't you?
And a random question for you my readers. I remember reading a book when I was really young about aliens who came to Earth because they were obsessed with potato pancakes. Does anybody know the title and/or author of this book? If you know it it would be awesome if you'd leave a comment to tell me.
Later.

Everybody Poops will be a big hit. I think it's required reading for all kids between ages 2 and 3. Good choice!
Thanks, MC. It's a great book for readers of all ages!
